Rules and Regulations
This forum is designed to increase the success in the re-entry to society from the penal system. We must have rules in place and enforced to be a success and we hope you take the time to read the rules of this forum before posting.

Relations Forum
Our lifestyle and actions have burned a lot of bridges and damaged a lot of people. The very first step or re-entry MUST be to rebuild those relationships and form a foundation of support as we begin to be a productive member of society.

Legal Forum
Many of us still have many legal battles ahead of us, even after release. This forum will discuss how to face those battles and avoid past actions to be a stumbling block for our future progression.

Transit Forum
Transportation is a major factor in many ex-cons' feeling of desperation. No transportation = no education, , no job, and sometimes even violations of parole. This forum will discuss many different ways to beat the feeling of hopelessness caused from a lack of transportation.

|
Education Forum
This forum will discuss resources and ways to further education. So many ex-cons end of in regressive situations due to the need to get a job instead of education when they are released. This is a mistake and we need education even more than those without a criminal record.
|
|
Employment Forum
Lack of money and employment is the #1 reason for ex-cons to relapse. This forum will discuss resources, programs, job fairs, and other potential employment opportunities for ex-cons.

Housing
Ex-cons have a daunting task in finding a place to live. Many landlords will not rent to an ex-con, sex offenders are shunned in most communities, and drug offenders are turned away from HUD housing. All these hurdles are quite regressive and need to be overcome, so an ex-con will not feel desperate in their attempts to find shelter.

Healthcare Forum
Let's face it, most of us have been abusing our body's for some time now. We need to find healthcare resources that will help us no matter how much money we have. This forum discusses healthcare providers and resources to help you along the way to re-entry.

Finances Forums
The art of budgeting is, very much, a skill that is honed over the years and many of us have not had years of practice. Running a "2 for 1" storefront in the joint just won't cut it. This forum discusses good budgeting and prioritizing finances along with some helpful resources to keep the checkbook growing.

Politics Forum
America has the largest penal system in the world and there is much political motivation behind that. Here we will discuss the politics behind the prisons, how it has impacted our lives, and wants needs to be done about it..
|
|
Resources Forum
This forum is to keep all the resources in one place. If you know of a great resource to help an ex-convict reach the goal of progression, please post it here for all to benefit from.
